What is Careers & Conversations?

Companies from across the Kansas City area will be on-campus to meet JCCC students to discuss job and internship opportunities and to inform students about career paths.

How do I prepare for this event?

Research the companies coming and compile a list of who you would like to chat with. Meet with a career coach to go over your elevator pitch and practice what to say.

Do I need to bring anything?

Your current resume is recommended but not required. Dress for success! Business casual is recommended.

Who can attend this event?

JCCC students with a student ID

Even if you are not currently job seeking, students at all stages at JCCC are welcome to attend to learn about career possibilities

I have class, can I just stop by?

Yes, you can stop by whenever you have availability, you do not have to stay the entire time.
