Description

Kanbe’s Markets is on a mission to build a more inclusive food system by transforming food loss into food access. Their work serves the most vulnerable in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area, while reducing unnecessary waste of nutritious foods discarded into landfills. Their mission is to deliver food justice one neighborhood at a time. In 2024 alone, Kanbe's Markets redirected 1,000,000 pounds of produce from ending up in landfills.
