Explore action-oriented climate solutions for the Kansas City region! Join us for JCCC’s FREE Epicenter Conference 2025: Disasterology and the Local Impacts of Climate Change. Disasterology focuses on the freak natural weather events worsening with climate change and how emergency managers and other professionals prepare for them.
This one-day conference features insights into the current and future impacts of climate change. Examine a day in the life of practitioners and learn how they identify and manage climate risks in the Greater Kansas City region. Participate in a climate risk assessment activity specific to Kansas City. This event is open to JCCC students, faculty, and staff, as well as high school juniors and seniors.
You are welcome to stay the whole day or attend as many individual sessions as you like.
